We are happy for Superintendent DeBoer but sad that she will be leaving us. We are so grateful for all your years of hard work. You have hard shoes to fill.
Enjoy your retirement, Superintendent DeBoer!
Dear Mashpee Community,
As you are all probably aware, a solar eclipse will be occurring this coming Monday, April 8, 2024. Given the path, Mashpee can expect about 93% of the sun to be covered by the moon. Solar Eclipse glasses are being provided to all MPS students and staff and the importance/requirement to wear them when viewing the solar eclipse is being reinforced with our students. The eclipse begins at 2:17 PM, reaches its maximum at 3:30 PM, and ends at 4:39 PM. If there is a specific viewing plan in place for your child’s school, the principal will communicate it to you. Please reinforce with your children the importance of wearing their glasses properly and for the whole time while viewing the eclipse. For more information visit: Partial Solar Eclipse on Cape Cod
Dear MPS Community,
All MPS community members are invited to attend our Senior Exhibition Night at Mashpee Middle-High School on Monday, April 1st from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn directly from members of the Class of 2024 about their amazing projects and the work they have completed. Our seniors appreciate your support.
Please join us for the Quashnet School’s Night to Shine on Thursday, April 4th (6:00 PM).
Dear Mashpee Middle-High School Students and Staff,
We're excited to share with you this week's MMHS Weekly Update. Inside, we highlight the Town of Mashpee's Annual Easter Egg Hunt (aided by the MMHS Key Club and Builders Club), the "Music in our Schools" concert—which united us with Quashnet Elementary School—and the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce Unsung Heroes recipients. Additionally, we also spotlight events and activities coming up for the month of April.
We hope that you all have a wonderful weekend. Please note that Monday, April 1st, will be an early release day, with MMHS students being dismissed at 11:45 am. Happy Easter, to all those who celebrate!
Take care,
Casey Pinsonneault and Laura Taylor
