Dear MPS Community,

For your planning:  Given our February 13th snow day, our last day of school is now scheduled for June 14, 2024.  This will be a half day for students and a full day for staff.

A reminder that all schools are closed Monday, February 19, 2024-Friday, February 23, 2024.  Staff and students return on Monday, February 26, 2024.  We hope this gives you an opportunity to be more in the moment and to spend quality time with your family and friends.  Don’t wait for tomorrow to make the life you want.

Dear Mashpee Middle-High School Families,

This week was a week of beginnings and ends. The MMHS winter athletic season winded down with the recognition of our Senior student-athletes. We thank them for their positive contributions to our school community and for representing MMHS so well when they travel to other school communities. The process of scheduling for the 2024- 2025 school year began this week. Students have received
commendations from their current teachers as to what they believe a student should take as courses next year. Families are encouraged to discuss the teacher recommendations, as well as their student's educational plans, and decide what courses to take for 2024-2025. Once decisions have been made, please enter the courses into the POWERSCHOOL PORTAL. As always, guidance counselors and
administration are available to assist in this process. The portal is currently open and will remain open until 2/26/24. Have a fabulous February break!

Best,
KEM

Dear Mashpee Middle-High School Families,
This past week, MMHS was buzzing with excitement. Our 7th graders impressed everyone with their National History Day Project presentations, diving into history with great enthusiasm. The Robotics Club reached the finals in the Vex Robotics Tournament, showcasing their skills and teamwork. The National English Honor
Society spread joy with Valentine's visits, and we celebrated our dedicated school counselors during National School Counseling Week. It was a fantastic week highlighting the talents and kindness of our students. I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!

Best,
Kathleen McSweeney

Dear MMHS Families,

This week found our MMHS community preparing itself for the important decision-making process of course selection for the 2024-2025 school year. Our Program of Studies/Open House school day and evening provided opportunities for students and parents/guardians to meet and discuss with our MMHS teaching staff course offerings. The goal of these interactions was to provide guidance in the course selection process, which will begin next week. As we enter the scheduling process, always feel free to reach out for guidance. When
home and school work together, students win.

Best,
Kathleen McSweeney
