Special Education
Welcome to Special Education at Mashpee Middle-High School
At Mashpee Middle-High School, we are committed to providing a supportive, inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. Our Special Education Department serves students in grades 7–12 who require specialized instruction, related services, and accommodations to make effective progress in the general education curriculum. We work in close partnership with families, teachers, and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths, needs, and postsecondary goals. Our focus is on fostering independence, self-advocacy, and success—both in school and beyond. Through collaborative planning and thoughtful instruction, we ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
For additional information, including district-wide special education resources and contact details, please visit the Mashpee Public Schools Special Education Department and learn more about the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC), which partners with families to support and strengthen special education services throughout the district.
