Program Description

If you love children consider a career in early childhood education. Course work is focused on the care of children from birth to third grade.  Early childhood job opportunities are expected to grow over the next several years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, as the emphasis on early education increases and a large number of teachers are expected to retire.  Anyone who completes a degree in child development can expect a wide range of career options.  In their senior year students will be given the opportunity to participate in an authentic learning experience in the education field.
